Vanguard Access Insulation Jacket is an insulated jacket designed for operators working in harsh, cold environments. Filled with Climashield® Comfort Plus synthetic insulation (67 g/m²), it provides reliable thermal protection even when wet, ensuring comfort during prolonged operations and field training.
The jacket’s construction allows it to be worn comfortably regardless of carried equipment, including a plate carrier. Donning and use do not require removing or opening the carrier, while pass-through hand pockets and full-length side zippers maintain unrestricted access to gear while the jacket is worn. A two-way front zipper enables quick donning and doffing,
while adjustable side panels and a waist-level strap with buckle stabilize the jacket during movement. A lower hem drawcord further reduces heat loss.
The hood is made from membrane fabric and designed to accommodate a helmet with accessories such as hearing protection, battery packs, or lights. It is fully adjustable and can be rolled up and stowed in the collar when not needed, providing maximum versatility across changing operational conditions.
