Direct Action is a Polish tactical gear brand designed and manufactured with special operations forces – both military and law enforcement – across NATO countries in mind. Since our launch in 2014, we’ve operated with one core principle: the gear must work. In high-stakes environments where there’s no room for error, equipment must be reliable, functional, and ready to perform in any configuration. 

Our products are developed in close collaboration with actual end users – from military units to special police forces. We receive precise feedback, which directly informs product design. This is how we develop our plate carriers, cummerbunds, chest rigs, tactical belts, back panels, pouches, and holsters – gear built to meet the needs of operations across urban, mountain, and highly complex conflict zones. 

We operate globally, but most of our production is based in Poland – across three facilities fully managed by our team. This setup allows us to implement changes rapidly, run in-house testing, and continuously refine our solutions.

At Direct Action, we don’t create gear for everyone. Our equipment is designed for professionals – people who operate daily in high-risk environments. That’s why we don’t compromise. Every design element – from laser-cut laminate and quick-release systems to ballistic and communication platform integration – must make sense in real-world scenarios. 

We follow an “individual-as-a-system” approach – gear is modular and can be configured to match the mission phase and task at hand. A chest rig can become a front panel, a back panel can be swapped in seconds, and a cummerbund can be upgraded with additional ballistic inserts. The user decides what they need – and how to build their loadout. 

We collaborate with special units across Poland, Germany, France, Greece, the USA, Austria, and the Baltic States. Direct Action gear is used by elite units like JW GROM. Many of our solutions – such as the Spitfire Plate Carrier or Hurricane Chest Rig – were developed in direct response to the specific needs of these forces. 

Our decision to keep most of our production in Poland is no accident. It gives us full control over every stage – from design and materials selection to quality control and final assembly. We can make changes faster than our competitors, run real-time testing, and avoid dependency on external supply chains. 

All facilities operate under ISO 9001:2015 and AQAP 2110:2016 standards – certifications required in military and institutional tenders. Direct Action is registered in the NATO supplier database under an NCAGE code – a clear confirmation that we meet the standards expected within allied defense structures. 

We manufacture tactical equipment – but in reality, we deliver value: for end users, for operational safety, and for a market where quality still matters.
