Direct Action® is committed to providing a comprehensive range of personal gear – from plate carriers, chest rigs, belts, and pouches to gloves, back panels, backpacks, bags, and finally, ballistic protection elements. The first step in this direction is ballistic inserts, but we are also working on including ballistic shields and helmets in our offerings.

Individual projects, without compromises

Direct Action brand vests are equipped with ballistic inserts, both Soft (Peripherical Ballistic Set: for neck, shoulder, hips and groin protection) and Hard (hard plates). We tailor our personal protection equipment to meet customers' needs and requirements in terms of desired ballistic protection levels, construction, and components used.

For those who protect others

Our individual protection products provide ballistic protection as specified by Special Forces and Uniformed Services in EU and NATO standards, including:

– the NIJ 0101.06 standard - National Institute of Justice (protection levels IV, IIIA, III, III+, III++ according to NIJ 0101.06)
– the Polish standard PN-V-87000:2011 (protection levels K4, K3, K2, and O2, O3).

Our offering also includes ballistic helmets, meeting NIJ 0101.06.01 and PN-V-87001:2011 standards.

Ballistic peripherals - description of individual products:

Spitfire® Ballistic Set Collar Cover

and plate carriers.

It consists of two sections the front and the rear.

The front collar piece is attached via Velcro® to the plate carrier’s shoulder strap, while the rear section secures to the Velcro in the upper part of the comfort pad area.

Both collar components can be connected in two ways: using Velcro for a standard setup or via an insertable element that slides into the tunnel when utilizing the Spitfire® Cutaway System for quick release of the plate carrier.

The construction of the kit allows it to be used both with and without the plate carrier’s quick-release system (Spitfire® Cutaway System).


The panels can be attached to the plate carrier in two ways: either via Velcro straps on the shoulder pads or using webbing loops to integrate with the plate carrier’s quick-release system.

The protectors are secured to the shoulders using adjustable elastic straps with Velcro for a precise fit. The external layer of the panels is equipped with Velcro panels for patches or IFF markers.
