Flat, spacious, instantly recognizable
The MED Pouch Horizontal Mk III is an updated version of the classic Direct Action® horizontal first aid kit. The biggest change is the new front with a laser-cut “MED” marking on the velcro panel – clear, visible, and ready for personalization (e.g., with IR patches or morale patches). The other functional features remain the same – it’s still a proven design optimized for quick access and low profile.
More space, same compactness
The external pocket is partially made of elastic materials, allowing more medical gear to fit inside without increasing the pouch’s thickness. The IFAK fits perfectly on the rear panel of the Mosquito Modular Belt Sleeve, but it can also be mounted on any MOLLE/PALS platform or directly on a belt up to 45 mm wide.
Medical insert ready for immediate use
The interior consists of a removable, ambidextrous insert with Hypalon® pull tabs – ensuring quick extraction of the contents regardless of the operating hand. The zipper allows the insert to open fully, while elastic loops inside keep the equipment organized even during intense movement. On the back wall of the insert, there is a velcro panel for attaching a shears pouch (e.g., Direct Action Shears Pouch).
